You can get involved with April's Angels in many ways:
Sponsorship of April’s Angels can occur in many ways:
- you or your organization can Adopt-A-Room and provide volunteer and/or financial
support
- you can become a sponsor for our 3rd annual April’s Angels Golf Tournament
on Monday, November 10th 2008 at Prestonwood Country Club for as little as
$250

April’s Angels is run by a team of volunteers, and all of the work done on room projects is done by volunteers as well. We are always looking for individuals with a wide of experience including the following:
- minor carpentry
- mural artistry
- sewing
- Spanish language skills
- graphic arts
- interior design
- administrative
- fund raising

The Adopt-A-Room program lets different civic and community groups adopt a room in one of 3 ways. A group can
1) provide the labor necessary for a room,
2) provide the funds needed to complete a room, or
3) provide both.
If a group chooses to provide the labor for a room, they will be allowed to work with the child and family directly on designing, creating, and implementing the final project. They will be there when the child and family comes home to see their new room, and get to experience first hand the joy of knowing they have changed a child’s life. It’s a very unique experience in that volunteers actually get to see a project through from beginning to end, and get to meet and work with the child whom the project directly benefits.
