August 2004, I created April’s Angels as a way to give to give back to the
community where I live and work.
are very fortunate here in Central North Carolina to be surrounded by
outstanding medical centers, but often with that, comes more awareness of the
struggles of so many who deal with life altering illnesses. Combining this
awareness with the desire for philanthropy, the idea for April's Angels was
better way to make a difference than by helping families with chronically ill
children in a way that would have a lasting impact on their life by improving a
bedroom in their home.
am proud of the team of volunteer’s at April's Angels who have dedicated hours
of service to make a difference in over xx children’s bedrooms.
our work may only impact a few families annually, the impact is gigantic.
you for visiting with us and I hope you’ll consider joining us in our efforts.
